Heel pain is a disease named after heel pain. It refers to a condition in which pain and difficulty in walking are mainly caused by chronic strain around the calcaneal tubercle.

The common cause is periarthritis of the Achilles tendon, calcaneal fat pad inflammation, and capsular inflammation, often accompanied by spur formation in the calcaneal tuberosity. The disease is more common in 40 to 60 years old middle-aged and obese people. Achilles tendon bursitis is mainly caused by wearing shoes, especially women often wear high heels. The repeated friction between the back of the shoe and the calcaneal tubercle causes chronic aseptic inflammation in the bursa of the calcaneal tubercle. The bursa increased, the wall thickened, and heel pain occurred.
