Protein fiber microsuspension Energy-saving and environmental-friendly dyeing technology is suitable for dyeing of protein fibers (including wool, cashmere, silk, soy protein fibers, yak hair, etc.) with reactive dyes, acid dyes, neutral dyes, and acid complex dyes. The core of this technology is the use of self-developed microsuspension aids in the dyeing process, so that after the microsuspension, the dye adsorption capacity of the dye particles is significantly enhanced, the dyeing time is greatly shortened, and the amount of waste dyes is significantly reduced, achieving an energy saving and environmental protection goal.

Technical points:

The initial dyeing bath temperature of the technology can be maintained at 25 to 35° C., without artificial heating. A micro-suspension aid is dissolved in the dye bath, and formic acid is added to adjust the pH of the dye bath to between 4.0 and 4.5. After the dye bath is circulated for 2 to 5 minutes, a dye solution is dissolved in the dyeing bath. The amount of dye is in principle the same as or smaller than the conventional dyeing process.

The dye bath is circulated for about 5 minutes. When the amount of dye is 1% (owf), the temperature is maintained at the above temperature for about 10 minutes so that the dye adsorption is complete. When the amount of dye used is 1% (owf), the temperature of the dye bath can be increased to 40-60° C., and the temperature increase rate is about 1.5° C./min, so that the dye can completely adsorb the fiber.

After the dye is adsorbed on the fiber, the dye bath is rapidly heated at a rate of 3 to 5°C/min. When the dyeing bath temperature reaches 90 to 95°C, the amount of dye is used, and the temperature is maintained for 15 to 40 minutes. Then, water washing and soaping are performed. Finish the dyeing process.

Economic evaluation:

The use of micro-suspension energy-saving environmental protection dyeing technology for industrial dyeing protein fiber production, can make the dyeing time shortened by 1/3 to 1/2 or more, with significant energy-saving effect. At the same time, the percentage of dye fixation is increased by 10% to 30%, and dyeing can be reduced by about 10% when dyeing at the same color depth. According to the above calculations, the amount of waste dye (including soap washing and waste dyes after washing) in the dyeing residual bath can be reduced by 10% to 30%. The dye bath ratio was calculated as 10:1 and the content of waste dye in the residual bath was ≤0.015% (w/w). Taking into account the dilution effect produced by the total amount of water discharged during the dyeing process (calculated as a 10-fold dilution rate), the total content of waste dyes in the wastewater discharged during the dyeing process is ≤ 0.0015% (w/w).
