Michael Wellby (1928-2012) passed away. He must have never thought that his collection before his death would be liked by everyone. Sotheby's London held a special auction for Mike Wilby's antique jewelry collection at the end of 2012. 211 pieces of antique jewellery spanned the early 16th and early 20th centuries, with the Renaissance style, the Jewelry techniques of the Iberian Peninsula, the Georgian style, and the Art Deco style that flourished in the early 20th century. These are Mike's 60-year collection, which can be said to present a simple and clear history of jewelry.
