Yangzhou jade carving is very prosperous and developed in history. Under the conditions, the original shape of the carving gradually transitions to the internal sculpture, the use of raw materials has reached a new artistic realm. However, Shanzi has experienced a rough process for the industry to accept. In the early 1980s, the Yangzhou Jade Factory first took out a piece of Shouxingshanzi sculpture, which caused great controversy. It was not until 1986 that Jasper Mountain’s “Stone Inscriptions” won the Golden Cup Award for National Quality Treasures. The media and the industry said that this piece of jade mountain "is the jade mountain treasure that was only seen in the 200 years after the large-scale jade ware made in the Qing Dynasty of China in the Qing Dynasty." It fully reflects the new level of Chinese jade carving skills."

Yangzhou Jadeware Factory has become the only state-owned capital holding enterprise in the jade industry that has not been reformed and is still flourishing.
